About Ed Berlett
Ed Berlett came to Artist Music from the Maryland Performing Arts Institute at Towson University, where he was Director and a member of the piano faculty for many years. He also spent time as a member of the music faculty at York College in Pennsylvania. Currently a piano faculty member and Coordinator of Activities at Artist Music's Lutherville Music Academy, a position he has held since 2016, Mr. Berlett is also Coordinator of Music Ministries at St. Anthony of Padua. Mr. Berlett teaches a wide range of styles for both the serious and recreational student, and he also specializes in preparing students for the Trinity College of London certification exams. A past president of the Baltimore Music Teachers Association, Mr. Berlett is a highly experienced teacher of all ages, and is a regular teacher of students who have enrolled in Artist Music's "Gifted and Talented" program.
Mr. Berlett holds a Bachelor's in Music (piano) from Towson University, where he studied with the Reynaldo Reyes, and a Masters Degree in Music from Morgan State University. He is available for both in-person and virtual lessons.
