About Justin Monroe

Justin Monroe, piano instructor at the White Marsh Music Academy and showroom piano specialist for Artist Music Center, received his degree in music composition from Towson University, where he studied piano performance under renowned pianist Reynaldo Reyes.  Mr. Monroe has been teaching piano to all ages, both serious and recreational, for eleven years.  He uses a strict progressive approach that avoids "children's methods" in order to maximize learning in a shorter period of time.  In addition to teaching at the White Marsh Music Academy, Mr. Monroe has taught piano at Baltimore Montessori.  Also an experienced composer, Mr. Monroe specializes in a style that mixes classical with film/video game styles.
