About Katherine Ruff
Katherine Ruff is a Mezzo Soprano based in Baltimore, Md. She is a senior receiving her BM in vocal performance at Towson University. She has recently appeared as the alto soloist in Mozart’s Coronation Mass with the Washington soloist ensemble, Elizabeth Barrett Browning in The Brownings go to Italy with Towson University, Helena in the regional premiere of Michael Ching's A Midsummer Night's Dream at Towson University, and Margaret White in Carrie the musical with Actors Anonymous. She is the recipient of the Sanborn scholarship in voice, the Friedman Gordon first place award, the Cohen award, and the Towson University voice division Talent Award. Katherine loves working with voices of all types and ages to achieve proper vocal technique and has a strong teaching philosophy based in individual curriculum.
