Dr. Michael Anglucci, 2019-20 Artist in Residence
ARTIST Music Academy of Maryland is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Angelucci as Artist-in-Residence for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Described as "a great artistic talent" by the ABI Foundation, Dr. Angelucci is the recipient of numerous awards including First Prize in the Bradshaw and Buono International Competition, First Prize in the American Prize National Competition, and the coveted Foundation La Gesse Fellowship. An increasingly sought-after recitalist, instructor, and guest clinician, Dr. Angelucci maintains an active schedule throughout the mid-Atlantic and beyond. Recent engagements include a two-week tour as concerto soloist with the Tahoe Symphony, a solo appearance at Carnegie-Weill Hall, and jurist for the 2018 Knabe International Piano Competition in Baltimore.
In addition to teaching selected ARTIST Music Academy students, Dr. Angelucci's residency will feature public master classes, recitals, and seminars scheduled throughout the year.
