Guitar Instructor
Artist Music Academy is looking for Guitar instructor to work at our Owings Mills Academy (located in Reisterstown), with possible lessons at our White Marsh location as well. Artist Music’s mission is to inspire members of the general community into a love for great music through music instruction and supportive retail merchandising. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to inspire and engage both children and adults in guitar instruction. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability and desire to keep a stable schedule, an ability to perform, and the ability and desire to promote guitar activities and help recruit new students.
Requirements
The Guitar Instructor must speak clearly and effectively and project enthusiasm to students and other clients about Artist’s programs and merchandise. The Guitar Instructor must exhibit patience with difficult students.
In order to succeed as an Artist Music team member, a passion for music education, children, and the Arts in general is essential.
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Guitar performance or a related field is required (current Bachelors students may also be eligible).
Salary / Hours
This is a part-time independent contractor position. Pay is based on education, experience, and other factors.
