Piano Instructor
Artist Music Academy is looking for a piano instructor to work at our White Marsh/Perry Hall location (with possible lessons at our Reisterstown location as well). Artist Music’s mission is to inspire members of the general community into a love for great music through music instruction and supportive retail merchandising. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to inspire and engage both children and adults in piano instruction. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability and desire to keep a stable schedule, an ability perform solo and chamber recitals, and ability and desire to promote piano activities and help recruit new students.
Requirements
The Piano Instructor must speak clearly and effectively and project enthusiasm to students and other clients about Artist’s programs and merchandise. The Piano Instructor must exhibit patience with difficult students.
In order to succeed as an Artist Music team member, a passion for music education, children, and the Arts in general is essential.
A minimum of Bachelors degree work in piano performance or a related field is required.
Salary / Hours
This is a part-time independent contractor position. Pay is based on education, experience, and other factors.
